1. Register As a member
Membership of otolaryngologyinafrica.net is open and free to all Otolaryngologists practicing in Africa. Because our focus is active interaction over the web, you need to observe the following:
First you need to send an email to orl-mailer@otolaryngologyinafrica.net or biodun@nanootology.org putting as the subject "Like to Join ORLinAfrica forum". Then an invitation email will be sent to you. As soon as you accept the invitation to join, you can start posting your comments or cases right away at the orlinafrica blogsite.

2. Register A Case you want published in Otolaryngology News
You can get your case published for the attention and comments of others on the list as well as entire web surfers by observing the following:
a. Email the case directly to orl-mailer@otolaryngologyinafrica.net. The picture could be sent as attachment to the mail. A short case summary (about 200 words) is sufficient. If it is a query (you are seeking assistance in diagnosis of a difficult case), Put as your subject "Case of The Week - Query". Otherwise, you could put as the email subject "Case of The Week - XXX", where XXX represents the diagnosis of the interesting case you want others to observe and comment on. Please indicate your name, your title, your institution as well as valid email address in the communication. Please save your picture in TIFF format for optimal visualization after edition at the site.
b. If you have registered as a member (see above), you can simply post your case at http://www.orlinafrica.blogspot.com 

3. Register for multicenter trials
The current multicenter trials in focus on otolaryngologyinafrica.net include the following:
a. Use of DODA - a computer-based audiometry - for hearing assessments
b. Head & Neck Malignancies in HIV+ patients in Africa
c. Mastoid Pneumatization in Otitis Media. 
d. Unilateral Sensorineural hearing loss and auditory rehabilitation
If you are interested in partaking in any of these studies, please email orl-mailer@otolaryngologyinafrica.net, putting as the subject of your mail "MultiCentre Trial". If you have your own study you want other centers to partake in the trial, please email biodun@nanootology.org for details.
